Project Overview

The Maitland Park development will provide:

  • 119 new homes
  • new and improved community spaces
  • landscaping improvements
  • new play provision
  • a community garden.

The original Planning Application for the scheme can be found here. The documents from the latest minor material amendment (MMA) application approved in September 2020 can be found here.

Demolition of Aspen House, Maitland Park Gym block, and the adjacent garages and sheds started in Summer 2020 and completed February 2021. 

The main Construction Works Contract started on 15 March 2021 and is expected to be complete in August / September 2022.  You can read the Construction Management Plan below:

Construction Working Group

We have set up a Construction Working Group (CWG). This is so that we can carry on consulting with local people during the demolition and construction process. The CWG is made up of:

  • local stakeholders, such as Maitland Park TRA reps
  • Maitland Park residents
  • residents and business owners from the local area
  • representatives from the Contractor(s)
  • The London Borough of Camden.

The group's purpose is to provide updates on the progress of the works to representatives of the local resident community. Residents can also raise any concerns regarding the construction works. Where appropriate we may ask CWG members to advise us on resident matters.
