Camden Leisure Centres - Reopening Information

Whilst many of the Covid-19 legal restrictions have been removed by the Government following July 19th 2021, under existing Health & Safety legislation we continue to work with our leisure partner and operator Better Leisure to make sure facilities are and remain Covid secure.

Camden’s leisure centres, gyms, swimming pools, group exercises and indoor sports are all reopened for adults and children for both members and non-members following  Government guidance. Services and activities are being reintroduced in phases to manage capacity and maxmimse safety.

Accessing Camden Leisure Centres

Leisure centre users can pre-book gym, swim or fitness classes and pay online remotely or at the centres by card only. Each activity is booked in a timeslot, the majority of these will be for an hour, however some group exercise classes will be shorter. Users can now book and attend multiple activity sessions.

While accessing Better Lesiure Centre's please download and utilise the NHS app and QR readers.

For the latest information, take a look at Better Leisure’s frequently asked questions on reopening leisure services or visit the Coronavirus section of their website.

Virtual physical activity resources

We understand that due to the current national lockdown to limit the spread of coronavirus, there is a high risk of many children becoming inactive.

To help children and young people stay happy and healthy through this crisis, we've put together some of the best online resources we could find which can be completed in the comfort of your own home.

Below are some links to simple ideas and content to aid teachers, parents and carers in maintaining an active routine for children and young people. They will help support positive engagement, physical wellbeing, as well as enhancing concentration and cognition, to aid remote learning.

The resources will also help children and young people continue their developing their skills in PE during this period of remote learning. Many activities can be done inside the house and with no (or very limited) equipment.
