Visiting family and friends 

Lots of us have friends and family who come to visit during the festive season. Here’s some advice for when people come to stay, or you travel to visit them. 

• so that you can plan for the holidays, check your child’s school term dates 
• before people arrive be prepared by getting some visitors parking permits   
• check which days there is parking enforcement 

Changes to opening hours

Christmas tree recycling 

It is important that Christmas trees are not dumped in the street. This can cause access issues and is classed as fly-tipping.  

It is illegal to dump your rubbish on the street and you can be fined for doing it.
