You can apply for a Green Badge if you are disabled and already have a Blue Badge. You need a Green Badge to park in busy areas of Camden where there is limited parking available. This is called the Green Badge area.
A Green Badge costs £30 a year if you are in paid work and it is free if you are not working. It lasts for:
- 3 years for residents
- 1 year for workers and students
Who can apply
You can apply for a Green Badge if you have a Blue Badge and:
- live in Camden in the Green Badge area
- work in Camden in the Green Badge area
- study in Camden in the Green Badge area
If you work or study in the Green Badge area, you can only use your badge on the days that you need to access the area for work or studies.
Applying on behalf of someone else
You can apply for a Green Badge for someone else, if they are unable to apply themselves. You will have to agree to a declaration at the end of the form, to say that they have given you permission to apply for them.

If you are working or studying in the Green Badge area, you will need to provide proof.
This could be:
- a letter on headed paper from your employer on company headed paper signed by a manager.
- a letter on headed paper from your college or university signed by a manager.
This should include the number of hours, days or months that you work or study in the area.
