These sessions are for cyclists interested in advancing their road traffic skills. This training is delivered one-to-one, or in very small groups, by a personal cycling instructor who will tailor the course to individual needs. This could, for instance, include your route to work or college.
Training will begin on quiet roads and progress to the types of routes you intend to cycle on. This can include complex junctions, multi-lane traffic and busy roundabouts. You can see a Camden Urban Cycle Skills session in progress on YouTube.
To participate at this level you must have good bike control skills. Each training session lasts between 90 and 120 minutes.
You should bring your own bike to the training, although the use of a borrowed or hired bike is possible.
You can request a preferred training date, time and location during registration. Your instructor will get in touch with you individually to arrange your cycle skills session.
