Support if you’re feeling lonely
Support if you’re feeling lonely
We can all feel lonely, it’s a normal part of life. You might feel lonely from time to time, in certain situations, or you might feel lonely most of the time.
What loneliness is
Loneliness is when we don’t have the quality or quantity of social relationships that we would like. Some people might feel lonely because they have moved or lost someone close to them. Some people may have lots of friends or family in their life, but still feel lonely. There isn’t always an obvious cause.
Connecting with your community
Trying new ways to connect with other people can help you to feel less lonely, but this can be hard if you have been feeling lonely for a while.
You could start small, like meeting up for a coffee with someone you already know, or attending an online activity with other people where you can listen while you build your confidence.
If you’re ready to meet new people, there are lots of ways to connect in Camden.
