If you are aged 60 or over, there are low or no cost seated exercise classes you can join in Camden.

These gentle sitting exercises will help improve your mobility and prevent falls. Don't worry if you've not done much for a while – these seated exercises are gentle and easy to follow. With a fabulous tutor who has taught with us for many years. Booking essential. 

Seated Exercise (Level 1)  

Pay as you go senior rate £5. Unlimited use of gym on day of purchase with one class included. 

For rehab based on falls prevention. Includes balance, strength, and coordination.

Chair-based exercise at Third Age Project

Free to members. Yearly membership £10

This highly popular and sociable class is known as ‘Use it or Lose it!’ Run by long-time TAP sessional instructor – Susan Lucas- it’s a fun and enjoyable way to get fit for people with a wide range of abilities. A good entry-level class for those who perhaps haven’t regularly exercised for some while and the group motivates each other to do the physical moves often to music. Some health questions may be asked when you first join. Carers are welcome to attend, no booking is required.

Chair-based exercise at Queens Crescent Community Association

Free for members (membership is also free)

These popular and enjoyable sessions are run by fitness instructor, Azmal Hussein. All welcome, no booking required.
