Repairs in your home
All repairs in your home are your responsibility.
The following videos are available to help you with repairs. They are available with British Sign Language (BSL) and optional French, Spanish, Somali, Bengali and Italian translations.
- Bleed a radiator
- Change a bathroom lightbulb
- Change a shower hose and head
- Repair a dripping tap
- Replace a toilet seat
- Unblock a sink
- Cover a water stain
- Fill a hole in a wall
- Prevent condensation, damp and mould
We recommend that you take out contents insurance in case of damage to your property.
Communal ventilation and heating
We are responsible for problems with communal ventilation and heating and you should report these to us.
Communal repairs
As a Leaseholder, you pay a service charge to cover the cost of repairs and maintenance to your block or estate.
It's your responsibility to:
- report issues in communal areas
- keep corridors and shared areas clear for access by emergency services and repairs staff
