Application for the renewal of the Neighbourhood Forum

The Kilburn Neighbourhood Forum has applied to Camden and Brent Councils to be formally re-designated as a neighbourhood forum, in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act (1990) and the neighbourhood planning regulations. The Forum was established in 2016 and after five years in operation must now re-apply if it is to be formally designated for a further five years.

The Councils are consulting residents and other interested stakeholders on this application.

If the application is agreed by both Councils, the Kilburn Neighbourhood Forum can continue neighbourhood planning related work for the area. A neighbourhood plan is a statutory planning document setting out general planning policies for the development and use of land in a neighbourhood. The designated neighbourhood planning area is shown in the application, no changes to the area are being proposed.

Any comments should relate to whether the Forum should be designated as a neighbourhood forum for another five years.
