Sewing and Mending Club
Join our friendly sewing community to get creative, share skills, and learn with others. Fridays are informal social sewing sessions, while Saturdays are teacher-led upcycling and mending workshops. Bring along clothes to repair, alter, or refresh.

Clean Air Heroes: Build an Air Pollution Catcher
Become a Clean Air Hero, by building simple pollution catchers to help spot and observe air pollution. It’s an easy and creative way to learn more about the air around us, how pollution affects our communities, and why clean air matters.

Camden Eco Atlas
Join us for a gentle creative walk exploring local green spaces, noticing plants, hidden corners, and everyday nature along the way. Back at the library, take part in relaxed hands-on activities such as sun printing and natural dyeing, helping to co-create a shared Camden map inspired by what we’ve discovered. This is a welcoming, drop-in session open to all and no experience is needed.

Somewhere the Sun is Always Shining
Join a fun-filled festival all about heat, climate, and community with ice cream, creative workshops, storytelling, art sessions, cooling kits, and talks from researchers and health experts. Don’t miss the British Library workshop exploring climate change, water scarcity, memories, and messaging across generations. Booking isn't required, you can just turn up on the day.

Climate Stories in Writing, Joy and Hope
This free 3-hour workshop combines climate science with poetry and creative writing in a friendly atmosphere. Everyone is welcome and no experience is required.

Camden Solar Showcase
If you're thinking about solar panels for your home or business, come along to our free event for residents who want to learn more about solar energy.
At the Camden Solar Showcase, there will be practical advice from trusted experts and you will be able to:
- learn more about solar funding support from the Camden Climate Fund
- ask questions about installing solar panels
- learn about planning and conservation considerations
- meet local organisations and installers
- hear how solar projects are already working in Camden
As we celebrate London Climate Action Week, this event is a chance to explore one of the practical actions highlighted in Camden's new Climate Action Plan 2026 to 2030 and find out how solar energy could work for you.
