Following the close of the examination hearings last week, the Inspector has now written to the Council regarding outsanding matters discussed at the Hearings. The letter is available to view on the examination documents page - ED90 Inspector's Post Hearings Letter 18.06.2026. The Council has also updated the examination document library to include the actions from the examination hearings - ED89 Actions and Modifications Table.

The examination hearings have now concluded. The Council has updated the examination document library to include six new documents - ED83 Note on the Mayors Support for housebuilding LPG, ED84 Mayors Support for housebuilding LPG, ED85 List of allocated sites up to 1ha, ED86 Housing development size analysis, ED87 Note on the backlog and ED88 Camden Goods Yard Appeal Decision.

The Council has received two representations in response to the publication of the Additional viability testing of Camden's Local Plan Proposed Submission Draft Policy CC6 - Energy Use and the Generation of Renewable Energy (document reference ED67). The Inspector has issued the hearings programme for the Local Plan examination hearings (ED66).
The first set of hearing sessions will commence at 9.30 on Tuesday 19 May 2026 for one week. A second set of hearings will take place during the weeks commencing 1 and 8 June 2026.
