Visitors: Entrance to our offices is by appointment only, and we ask that anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19, or feels generally unwell, does not attend our offices or venues. Please contact us to reschedule in such cases.

Tavistock House

The Edwin Room and the Silver Birch Room have now re opened. This will be reviewed based on government and health and safety advice. If you book the Edwin or Silver Birch Rooms and they are not usable then you will automatically be upgraded to the Tavistock Suite with no extra charge.

The Tavistock Suite is now back to capacity and can be used in combination with the Edwin Room.

The Capacities for each room are:

Edwin Room: (15) 
Silver Birch Room: (8)
Tavistock Suite: (40) 
Tavistock Suite & Edwin Room Combined: (55) 

Approved Venues

All approved venue ceremonies should go ahead as planned only if the venue is Covid-secure. Each venue has a Covid 19 dedicated risk assessment to ensure you, your guests, and staff are as safe as possible, while still enabling you to enjoy your celebration. This may mean guest numbers are still limited in some way. Please check with your venue.

Notice of Marriage / Civil Partnership

Notice of Marriage, Civil Partnership, or Certificate of Non-impediment for marriage abroad can be given depending on availability.

If you make a ceremony booking and have not already given your notice of marriage/civil partnership, we may not be able to take your notice of marriage/civil partnership, due to the likely high demand for services, thus being unable to observe the legal 28 days’ notice period for your ceremony to go ahead.

Please note: Marriage and civil partnership law requires that a notice must be a face-to-face interview before a registrar in person. Notices cannot be given by proxy, by post, in writing, by video call, online or by any other method.

Bookings

Any bookings made may be subject to change in observing government guidelines on social distancing. If you have to postpone a current booking, please email tietheknot@camden.gov.uk
