I am blind

If you are blind, we would highly recommend navigating our website using a screen reader for full accessibility and easier navigation.

If you do not have a screen reader, you can still navigate our website using our Browsealoud tool, which can read the contents of the webpage out to you. However, a friend/family/member of staff will need to help activate the option for you first.

On the Browsealoud toolbar, you have two options:

  • Click on the “play selection” option to have the current page read out to you (Image)
  • Click on the “MP3 maker” option to download an audio version of the page so you can take it away with you on an external storage device or download it to your computer to listen to it later. (Image)

I am partially sighted

If you are partially sighted, you can activate the “Hover to speak mode” from the Browsealoud toolbar. This will read out the content you place your mouse on. You can also combine this with the “Text magnifier” option to make it even easier to access the content on our website.

To improve accessibility to our content even further, you can apply a screen mask by selecting the “Screen mask” option to help your focus and increase the contrast of highlighted content from within the “settings” option on the Browsealoud toolbar.

The Browsealoud toolbar is located usually at the top right of the website but it can be dragged to a different location to ensure full content visibility.
