Mount Pleasant - CIP
This project has transformed buildings that were originally part of a Victorian workhouse into a modern hostel where single homeless people with support needs can live and acquire the skills and confidence they need to move onto independent living.
The renovated facilities include self-contained en-suite rooms for 52 residents with larger and accessible rooms for residents with disabilities.
Working with Camden’s Homelessness Prevention team and the Safer Streets team, Mount Pleasant is now able to use their improved facilities to support over 200 people into independent accommodation each year.
