Camden Apprenticeships team creates apprenticeship opportunities exclusively for local people. Apprenticeships are paid jobs which offer hands-on work experience alongside training. They are open to anyone aged 16 plus.
If you’re leaving education, job seeking or you’re in work but want to change career, an apprenticeship can provide a great stepping stone into a wide range of sectors. They are suitable for people who want to develop skills and experience in a particular field.
King's Cross Construction Skills Centre offers a variety of free training courses to prepare people for a career in construction, as well as Construction Apprenticeships and jobs which are exclusively for Camden and Islington residents.
Via an apprenticeship, you’ll gain a nationally-recognised qualification, skills and the practical experience needed to get into the sector.
Access one-to-one support from a job hub advisor for:
- careers guidance and access to pre-employment courses and training
- advice on searching for work experience, jobs or apprenticeships
- support with CVs, applications and interviews
- advice on benefits, debt and other money-related matters
- specialist support for people with mental health conditions.
