In 2019 we launched the Temporary Accommodation Purchasing Programme (TAPP) to buy back a limited number of ex Right to Buy 1, 2 & 3 bedroom properties.
The scheme has been very successful, and we have purchased 61 properties. In addition, we have used funds from this programme to convert one long term empty property into 3 flats, and have facilitated a building conversion providing 24 other units.
In total the TAPP programme will look to provide more than 70 in-borough properties to be used as temporary accommodation for our homeless households.
Due to the success of the original TAPP programme, we are pleased to announce that we have now launched a second TAPP programme.
For those leaseholders who are considering selling their properties, this scheme has many advantages:

We are currently looking for predominantly 2 bedroom properties, although, we may consider large 1 bedroom ground floor properties, up to market prices offered, subject to an independent valuation, and any cost of repairs to bring the property up to our required standards.
Essentially we are cash purchasers, we aim to complete on all purchases in 8 - 12 weeks.
