Open call for proposals for free meanwhile premises in Kilburn

Camden Council and Transport for London, in partnership with the Mayor of London’s High Streets for All Challenge, are seeking to identify a partner with the ideas and capacity to bring to life a vacant premises in Kilburn’s Town Centre. 

2c Maygrove Road is opposite Kilburn Tube station, adjacent to Transport for London’s Kilburn Arches. The space was formerly a fish and chip shop and before that a motorcycle showroom and will be offered rent free for an agreed period from any time up to an initial 12 months. In return, the selected partner will encourage people to visit Kilburn’s Town Centre.

The project is part of Camden Council’s Future High Streets programme

To put forward a proposal, please:  

1.    Write a proposal (maximum 1,000 words) that clearly outlines how your proposed meanwhile use responds to the project criteria and how your proposal supports the Camden Future High Streets vision and objectives as set out within in the Future High Streets Prospectus 

2.    Submit your proposal to regenerationandplace@camden.gov.uk (with the subject ‘2c Maygrove Road proposal’).

The deadline for proposals has been extended - the deadline is now 23:59pm on 6th May 2022.

There will be opportunities to visit the premises after Easter.
