Have your say on private renting in Camden

In these challenging times, having a safe and secure place to live has never been more important. A third of Camden residents (approx. 33,000 people) live in privately rented accommodation but many do not contact the council for advice or support when they may need it.  We want to improve communication so that private renters are more aware of their rights and what the council can do for them.

If you privately rent in Camden, please complete the survey by Monday 14 December. The results will help us find out about your experiences of being a private tenant, which we will use to make changes.

By taking part you’ll also help us improve how we communicate with people who privately rent, which in turn will help improve living conditions in the private sector. At the end of the survey, you can also choose to enter a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a £20 shopping voucher.

Get involved in our private renter forum

We are looking for volunteers to take part in a Private Renter Forum, which will help inform the way in which the Council engages with tenants in the future.

If you would like to take part or find out more about this or the private tenant survey, please contact Fiona Exley fiona.exley@camden.gov.uk.
