Resignation of a Councillor

 

A vacancy has arisen in the office of councillor for Camden Town with Primrose Hill Ward due to the resignation of Councillor Lazzaro Pietragnoli.

The vacancy will remain unfilled until the Local elections on Thursday 5 May 2022, under
Section 89(3), of the Local Government Act 1972.

Local Council election

On Thursday 5 May 2022 the all out Local Council Elections for the London Borough of Camden will be held. This is when all eligible electors will be able to vote on who will be their local Councillors for the next four years.

Due to Boundary Changes  there are now 20 Wards, 15 with 3 Councillors representing the Ward and 5 with 2 Councillors representing the Ward.

Standing as a Candidate

If you are interested in standing as a Candidate to become a Councillor at these elections there is an Information Meeting on Wednesday 24 November 2021, starting at 6.00pm.
