If you are a landlord or a freeholder you may be entitled to a grant to help improve the security of your property.
What works are eligible?
- Communal intercom door entry system which must extend to all lets within the building
- Video security systems
- Window and door locks
- Approved door viewers
- Letterbox shrouds
- London and Birmingham bars
How much can I get?
- £500 per let for approved security measures.
- £5,000 per building for approved security measures
whichever is the lesser amount
Grant conditions
- Where the premises are liable for licensing under Part 2 or 3 of the Housing Act, the premises are licensed.
- At completion of the works the landlord must be a member of the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme.
