Camden is investing in its green spaces to help create welcoming and exciting spaces for all communities. Our improvement projects include:
- enhanced landscaping
- play equipment
- sport and fitness facilities
- wildlife friendly & climate resilient planting

Camden’s Green Space Investment Programme (GSIP) ensures capital investment in our parks and green spaces best meets the needs of local communities and supports the vision of We Make Camden. The GSIP identifies the areas of Camden in greatest need, then matches available funding to deliver these specific projects and profiles their implementation over the programme period. This funding includes S106, Local CIL, external grant funding, as well as projects funded through capital receipts. The key priorities for investment are:
- addressing inequality in access to green space and facilities
- promoting financial savings within the Green Space service
- supporting wider council programmes and initiatives
- delivering climate resilience
