Free co-working space for your businesses

We have partnered with LABS to offer up to 10 free co-working space to Camden business owners. 

LABS’ Affordable Workspace programme supports emerging businesses, entrepreneurs and creative professionals by offering flexible, well-designed workspace in the heart of Camden.

Co-working spaces can help businesses:

  • find affordable workspace 
  • meet and collaborate with other entrepreneurs 
  • access professional meeting and breakout space 
  • work in a focused business environment

Finding affordable, accessible office space for your business can be difficult, especially as a start-up or small business. The aim of this scheme is to support growth and break down one of the barriers between business owners and their goals. 

This offer provides access to shared workspace at LABS Atrium in Camden Town for a period of 6 months.

The offer

The LABS offer includes: 

  • access to design-led, fully equipped workspaces in LABS Atrium, located in the heart of Camden Town 
  • high-speed connectivity and premium amenities 
  • meeting rooms, kitchens and breakout spaces
  • access to LABS’ member events, socials and online community via the app 
  • opportunity to connect with a network of entrepreneurs and businesses

This is a co-working environment with shared facilities and is not a private office space.

Who this opportunity is suited to

This scheme is best suited to:

  • single founders 
  • co-founders 
  • start-ups 
  • small and micro businesses 
  • early-stage growing businesses 

One membership is provided per person.

If applying as co-founders, applicants should indicate:

  • how many memberships are required 
  • who the memberships are for 

Memberships cannot be shared.

Is this opportunity right for you?

The scheme is best suited to businesses that:

  • need regular desk-based workspace
  • are able to make consistent use of the space
  • want to work in a shared co-working environment and connect with other entrepreneurs

We encourage applicants to visit the LABS workspace to understand if the environment is the right fit. You can book a tour via the LABS website.
Members are expected to actively use the space. If membership is not used within the first month, it will be reviewed so that the opportunity can benefit other Camden businesses.

Who can apply

The scheme is open to Camden- based:

  • Start-ups
  • Small and micro businesses 
  • Early-stage growing businesses

We particularly encourage applications from: 

  • Tech 
  • Retail 
  • F&B hospitality 
  • Residential and commercial real estate 
  • Arts, entertainment, and recreation 
  • Information and communication 
  • Charities

However, businesses from all sectors are encouraged to express interest.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a clear need for workspace and how access to the space will support their business. 

How to apply

If you’re interested in applying, please complete an expression of interest form:

Express your interest in LABS Co-working space

The form helps us understand:

  • your business 
  • your workspace needs 
  • whether the LABS environment is the right fit

If you meet the requirements, you will be invited to complete the full affordable workspace application form.

Spaces are limited and will be allocated based on:

  • suitability for the workspace
  • alignment with Camden’s Inclusive Economy priorities
  • ability to benefit from the workspace

Deadline to submit applications is midnight 7 August.

What happens next

  1. If your business meets the criteria in the expression of interest form, you will be invited to complete Camden’s full affordable workspace application form.
  2. Camden will assess applications based on suitability, alignment with Inclusive economy priorities, and ability to benefit from the workspace.
  3. Successful applicants will be contacted to confirm their place and onboarding with LABS.
