Do I need planning permission?
You must apply for full planning permission to:
- convert a house into flats
- or to change the number of flats in a building.
If your property is a listed building (or part of), you must apply for listed building consent for this.

Apply for a Lawful Development Certificate to prove an existing or proposed residential unit is lawful.
