Workspace for small businesses in Camden

Camden’s Affordable Workspace Strategy

Camden’s Affordable Workspace Strategy sets out our approach providing discounted commercial space for small businesses. It provides additional guidance in support of our planning policy and our commitment to:

“Making best use of our own resources, assets and levers to help create a more inclusive economy. This includes ensuring that residents, small businesses and social enterprises have access to affordable workspaces; to realise their enterprise potential and to grow business ventures that benefit their communities.”

The Objectives of our Affordable Workplace Strategy (AWS) are:

  • to define our mission for delivering affordable workspace in Camden within the context of the current social and economic landscape and the changes we want to see
  • to define both how we will deliver this mission and how will judge our success

At this stage, we are inviting workspace providers to express their interest in being part of the scheme by filling out a short survey.
