Get Involved
Nobody knows their local area better than the people who live in it. That’s why we strive to work in collaboration with our residents, involving them every step of the way, from first designs to the layout of new homes and local green spaces.
There’s lots of ways to get involved including drop-ins, online discussions, consultations, exhibitions and fun days. We’re here to listen to your views on plans that affect your area and want you to tell us how they can be improved.
The Community Investment Programme has the potential to transform our borough for the better, so your input is key to getting things right.
As required by the GLA, on all projects that involve the demolition of more than 50 existing homes, we will be balloting estate residents, giving them the final say as to whether or not plans go ahead. In 2020, we completed our first ballot on West Kentish Town Estate, with 85% of eligible residents casting a vote and 93% voting yes.
This fantastic result shows that by working together, we can build new homes and estates that work for our communities and help unlock ambitions for the future.
