Who we are
We are Camden’s accessible information team, part of Camden’s learning disabilities service, CLDS.
We provide easy read information for people with learning disabilities.
We work with health, social care, and the voluntary and private sectors.
Easier information
We would all like the information we receive to be clear, concise and not too wordy.
Some of us need it to be free from jargon and difficult words.
People who find it harder to process written information may also need pictures that support the words.
Making your information easier to understand
There are alternatives to text-based formats that may be a better solution for some of your clients and we can help you produce these.
We all have a legal duty to make the reasonable adjustments that enable disabled people to have access to information.
We can help you meet the challenge of providing information in accessible formats for your different audiences and client groups.
