Each year the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) must conduct an annual canvass to ensure the Register of Electors is accurate and complete. It gives an opportunity for residents to tell us where there have been changes.

All households In Camden will receive an Annual Canvass Form either by email or through your letterbox via Royal Mail. It will contain details of who is registered to vote at your property, you need to check this information and advise us of any changes.

Please check your forms carefully as there are three types of forms being sent, Canvass Communication A (CCA), Canvass Communication B (CCB) and the reminder Canvass Form (CF).

CCA (Green Form):

If all the information is correct, no other action is required.

If your details are incorrect:

Update your details online – Go to registersecurely.com/camden  You will need the security codes provided on your form. This link will take you to a secure website hosted by our service provider.

CCB (Pink Form):

You must respond to the form regardless of whether the details are correct or not.

If your details are correct:

If you need to make changes to any of these forms and are unable to complete online – call us on 020 7974 4444 advising us of the changes

If you do not respond to your CCB we will send up to two reminder Canvass Forms (CF) white forms, either by post or email (if we have an email address for you).

If you do not respond to your reminder forms, a canvasser will either call you (if we have a phone number) or visit your home to collect the information.

If you do not provide the requested information at all you can be fined up to £1,000.

Please note that completing any of the canvass forms does not mean you will be registered to vote. New electors will need to individually register and we will send each person an Invitation to Register form (ITR). They must complete and return the form or register to vote online (https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote ).
