Adoption in Camden
Camden’s adoption service is part of Adopt London North, joining five other London boroughs - Barnet, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Islington - to become one Regional Adoption Agency, which provides a service to:
- people interested in adopting a child or sibling group: our experienced team will guide, prepare, and support you to becoming an adoptive parent. We encourage you to research and find out about adoption, and sign up to an Adopt London North event
- when you are approved and you have a child placed with you: there is a range of support available – visit the Adopt London North Support page for adoptive families
- if you are a birth parent or a birth family member needing advice: we aim to provide information, and signpost you to the right support
- if you are an adult adoptee living in Camden and you need support: visit our Support for Adoptees in North London page. We aim to provide information, details of support groups and/or signpost you to the right support
