Camden foster carers living in the borough
If you are a foster carer living in Camden and fostering for us, you are entitled to a Council Tax exemption. This starts 7 days after your fostering begins. You do not need to apply for it.
The exemption ends on 31 March following the date that you come off the fostering register.
Care leavers
Care leavers are exempt from Council Tax until the age of 25. Speak to your allocated Social Worker or Personal Advisor to apply.
