Forward Plan
Details of the Forward Plan published by the Council, which lists the key decisions that are planned to be made over the next four months.

Keeping buildings and public meetings safe
To ensure our meetings are safe and accessible to everyone attending, there are a number of measures that may be in place in our buildings.

Searches may take place of anyone wishing to enter our buildings. If you refuse to be searched, you will not be able to enter the building or attend the meeting. The following items may not be brought in to any

If you have any of these items in your possession, you may leave them with our security team (at your own risk). If you decline to do this, you will not be admitted to the building. Please note that this list is not exhaustive – security staff will decline entry to anyone carrying any item they consider may present a threat to the safety of those present or the smooth running of the meeting.

Please restrict the size of bags you bring to meetings as we do not have places to store bags or personal items.

Meeting agendas
Copies of agendas are available on webpages for specific meetings, which can be accessed further down this webpage or through the calendar of meetings. Limited numbers of hard copies of agenda papers will be available at meetings held in public, so if you require one it is advisable to contact the officer named on the front of the agenda at least one day before the meeting. If you require further information about a particular meeting, contact the officer named on the front of the meeting agenda.

Meeting locations
Most meetings are held at the Town Hall, Judd Street, London WC1H 9JE (King’s Cross/St Pancras). The Town Hall has wheelchair access, good lighting, an induction loop system for people who are hard of hearing and is fully accessible. Meetings are occasionally held elsewhere so please check the front of the agenda to find out the location of the meeting.

Requesting to speak at meetings
Any individual or group wanting to address a Council meeting about an issue must make a request to speak in advance, known as making a deputation request. Information on how to do this can be found on our deputation pages. It is not possible to come and address a meeting without requesting to do so in advance.

Webcasting
Most Council meetings are webcast live and this will be stated either on the agenda and at the start of the meetings. Recordings will be retained on the Council’s website for one year. You can view webcasts of meetings here.

Disruption at meetings
The Chair of the meeting will not allow behaviour that disrupts council business. Under the Council’s Constitution, the Chair may order the removal of any member of the public who interrupts a meeting and has continued to do so following a warning. In the event of a general disturbance the Chair may adjourn the meeting until order is restored or, if this is not possible, until a later date.
