Books, periodicals, newspapers, maps, illustrations, archives and other items about the Borough past and present, and family history. Parish vestry and Council records 17th to 20th centuries, including valuation lists until 1989. Archives of local organisations and individuals, including Highgate Cemetery registers. Consultation of archives is by prior appointment.
 
Opening times (visits)
Mondays 10-6, Tuesdays 10-6, Wednesdays CLOSED, Thursdays 10-7, Fridays CLOSED, alternate Saturdays 11-5, Sundays CLOSED. The Saturdays we will be open in 2023 are: 2, 16, 30 December. The Saturdays we will be open in 2024 are: 27 January, 10, 24 February, 9, 23 March, 6, 20 April, 4, 18 May, 1, 15, 29 June, 13, 27 July, 10, 24 August 7, 21 September, 5, 19 October, 2, 16, 30 November, 14, 28 December.
