Information for private sector landlords and tenants

  • landlords - information on renting your home through us, advice and support, housing conditions and licensing
  • tenants - advice for tenants in the private rented sector

We are currently reviewing our additional HMO licensing scheme.
Houses in multiple occupation (or HMOs) are shared homes, including house and flat shares, student homes, bedsits and some buildings converted into flats, which are occupied by three or more people who are not part of the same family.

Landlords: If you own, manage or let an HMO in Camden, we are keen to hear your views on what has worked well and what you think we can improve, so please complete the survey here.

Tenants: If you are currently living, or have lived in a rented shared property in Camden since 8 December 2015, and have a private landlord we are keen to hear your views, so please complete the survey here.
