Take the hassle out of hiring – we offer award winning recruitment services that are free and easy to use. Let us help you find committed local staff and apprentices who will add value to your team. Camden boasts some of the best schools in the country, so let’s get the business community working together to make sure we tap into young people’s potential. You will benefit from a fantastic workforce, now and in the future.

Local apprenticeships

Camden Apprenticeships sort out the paperwork, find the best candidates and offer ongoing support to you and your apprentice – an award-winning, free service.

Higher apprenticeships

We are working in partnership with the Knowledge Quarter to develop KQ Apprenticeships, a new Higher Apprenticeships programme for science, technology and the creative sectors. A pilot life sciences programme will begin recruitment in August 2016.

Construction recruitment

We help contractors and sub-contractors on local developments to hire construction workers and apprentices through King’s Cross Construction and Skills Centre's free recruitment service. Building on the success of this initiative, Camden has secured through HS2, assurances of a £4.1 million commitment to develop a Euston-based Construction Skills Centre to support local residents into employment.

Recruiting to part-time roles

We support Timewise in promoting the social and business benefits of flexible working for mothers returning to work by promoting your quality part-time and flexible vacancies. Camden is also supporting parents through an adult apprenticeships scheme which is demonstrating the value of adult apprenticeships for residents and businesses.

Invest in your future workforce

We are developing a Schools Brokerage Service which connects you to local schools and colleges to help shape the future workforce including work experience, mentoring and curriculum enrichment.

Connecting local businesses

The Camden Business Board brings together local business groups and the Council to work together to support business and growth. In addition to the biannual Camden Business Awards, the Board also hosts ad-hoc themed business events ranging from local recruitment to flexible working.
