We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get the information and support you need from the Council. You can complete everyday transactions and requests online using your Business Account and receive more detailed customer service support for complex matters.

We are here to help you meet regulatory requirements and provide you with useful, timely information to benefit the running of your business. We regularly survey customers to make sure the service we offer is as business friendly as possible.

Online business account

We offer an online Business Account which brings together your regular transactions with us into a personalised, secure account which you can access 24 hours a day. In 2016, we will be adding new functionality to make the account mobile-accessible to allow you greater flexibility in your business transactions. 

Dedicated business customer service

We have a dedicated business team within our customer service centre. Staff are trained to handle enquiries from all types of businesses. There is also a dedicated team to help you understand your business rates (a national tax collected by the council) who provide specialist advice regarding your business rates and how to reduce the overall amount payable.
