We aim to make Camden the best place to do business in London.  To help us achieve this goal, we have co-authored the Camden Business Charter with the Camden Business Board. The Charter sets out the Council’s commitment to business across the following five key priority areas:

  • attracting investment into Camden (section two)
  • improving services for you as a business customer (section three)
  • connecting your business to the local community (section four)
  • investing in business infrastructure (section five)
  • supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and social enterprises (section six)

The charter will help us to support Camden's 29,100 existing businesses and the many new arrivals joining our ranks through major developments, such as King’s Cross Central. The Charter also links to our wider aim of creating the conditions for and harnessing the benefits of economic growth as outlined in the Camden Plan

The charter is a working document which will be updated on an annual basis.
