Healthy bones

What is it?

An  exercise class led by a qualified fitness instructor which will help you to improve your bone and muscle strength, joint mobility and flexibility. Improving these can help you maintain balance and reduce the risk of falling.

Some sessions are chair assisted (less active) whilst others incorporate standing exercises (more active).

How do I join?

  • Later Life sessions run by Camden council Sport and Physical Activity Team are marked with (V)
  • the first session is free
  • after this each session costs £3 for residents and £6 for non-residents (unless stated)
  • you will need to buy an exercise voucher from any Camden library
  • take the voucher along to the session and meet the instructor (make sure you arrive 10 minutes before your first session to register)
  • you can save time by filling out our welcome survey before attending and taking it with you
All other sessions are run by partner organisations – please turn up to the session for further information or contact them directly.
