Seated exercise

What is it?

An exercise class lasting between 45 minutes to 1 hour, led by an instructor trained in seated exercise for later life, which will help you to improve joint mobility, strength and flexibility to help maintain independence.

How do I join?

  • Later Life sessions run by Camden council Sport and Physical Activity Team are marked with (V)
  • the first session is free
  • after this each session costs £3 for residents and £6 for non-residents (unless stated)
  • you will need to buy an exercise voucher from any Camden library
  • take the voucher along to the session and meet the instructor (make sure you arrive 10 minutes before your first session to register)
  • you can save time by filling out our welcome survey before attending and taking it with you
All other sessions are run by partner organisations – please turn up to the session for further information or contact them directly.
