Camden Resident Participation Strategy 2016-19

Active voices, empowered residents, strong communities

Our Resident Participation Strategy provides a clear framework for building empowered and resilient communities.  It was produced following extensive consultation and describes the various ways that residents are able to influence decisions and take part in the housing service.

Our aim is to create a framework of support, delivering active voices, empowered residents and strong communities with positive outcomes:

  • Tenant and Resident Associations, getting organised and getting things done
  • District Management Committees, making a difference to residents lives across the borough
  • Initiatives that make savings for the community
  • Residents running local housing services the way they want
  • Collaborative working to make improvements
  • Vibrant TRA halls
  • Welcoming the voice of experience
  • Consistently high quality engagement
A separate action plan lists the things we will be doing on an annual basis in order to realise the strategic aims.
