What is the Hawley Wharf area planning framework?

The Hawley Wharf area planning framework sets out relevant planning policies and detailed advice for Hawley Wharf and the surrounding area.

It provides guidance to developers and others about what we would like to see in plans for the redevelopment of the Hawley Wharf area. In general, the framework includes information on:

  • potential land uses and activities
  • design and considerations for public space

We consulted on this document between October 2008 and November 2008. All responses and comments were considered and the draft planning framework was amended accordingly.
