Camden Design Awards

The 2017 Awards

The Camden Design Awards 2017 celebrate and reward the exceptional design that is being delivered in projects across all sectors of the built environment in Camden.

Over 100 projects were submitted for the 2017 awards with 57 longlisted for consideration by the judging panel. The judges then shortlisted 34 projects before undertaking site visits and choosing seven award winners, three highly commended projects and four commendations.

Cllr Heather Johnson, Chair of the Development Control Committee and this year’s judging panel Chair, has this message:

“The quality and variety of design in Camden continues to impress; the number of nominations in this year’s Camden Design Awards reached over one hundred and the standard of the entries was higher than ever, giving the judging panel a very difficult task to choose the final winners”.

Details of all of the winners and shortlisted projects can be viewed in the brochure below.

The seven winners will receive their award at the prestigious Camden Business awards event at the Royal College of General Practitioners on 30 November 2017. From amongst these seven, the judges have selected one ‘Outstanding Design Award’ winner to be announced on the night.
