Local advice Services

If you need further information and advice on benefits and debt; you can contact the following advice agencies.

Age UK Camden
Age UK Camden offer free and confidential information and advice  for older people, their families and carers.                                                                                              

Citizens Advice Camden
Citizens Advice Camden offer telephone advice and face to face drop in surgeries at their offices and at local GP surgeries.

Camden Community Law Centre
The Law Centre can assist people living, working or studying in the London Borough of Camden with appeals against benefit decisions. They also provide advice and representation on the following areas: Employment: Housing, Immigration and Asylum.

Mary Ward Legal Centre
The Mary Ward Legal Centre provides specialist legal advice on debt, employment, welfare benefits and housing.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP)
They offer a free debt advice service. You will need to enter your postcode on their website to check if this service is available to you.

Bengali Workers’ Association

They run a general advice drop in service everyday Friday between 10:00am – 12:00pm.

London Irish Centre

Provides accredited advice on a range of issues including housing, welfare benefits and Irish birth certificates, passport and pensions. 

Somali Cultural Centre

They offer information, advice, advocacy and outreach services to the Somali speaking community in Camden and surrounding areas.
