Camden Business Awards

Camden Business Awards

On 30th November 2017 we announced the winners of the third Camden Business Awards at a glittering awards ceremony. The venue was the Grade II listed events space, 30 Euston Square, headquarters of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Our compere for the evening was the BBC News and Business anchor Alice Baxter.

The awards are funded by the business community and led by the Camden Business Board, in partnership with the Council. This year’s awards celebrated leading examples of growth, innovation, urban design and commitment to corporate social responsibility.

David Whittleton, Chair of the Camden Business Board, said:

“This year’s awards again recognise Camden as the heart of London’s thriving economy, and the best place to do business in the capital. I’d like to thank all our awards entrants for their enthusiasm and determination, and for helping to make Camden such a vibrant and successful business centre.”

Councillor Danny Beales, Camden Council Cabinet member for Investing in Communities, said:

“It’s fantastic to see such a high calibre of applications at the Camden Business Awards this year, particularly from those in our creative, professional, life sciences and tech growth sectors. We have had strong entries from businesses going above and beyond to support their local communities, and in creating excellent places to work. This has been great to see, and will help us make Camden an inclusive place for all.”

We’ve put together a video for this year’s awards telling the story of how we’re making Camden the best place to do business, check it out:
