A planned consultation on this document has now been postponed until further notice. This is due to the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Camley Street and St. Pancras Way area is seeing a number of changes happening. Several development proposals are likely to come forward in the near future.

We have therefore prepared a draft planning guidance document. This outlines what we see as some of the key issues and opportunities for the area that should be addressed.

A draft version of the document was approved for consultation in June 2019:

It builds upon existing policies and priorities in the adopted Local Plan to set out the Councils emerging planning vision for the area.

We were planning to start consultation on the updated version below. However, this has been postponed until further notice. This is available for information purposes.

The draft guidance sets out some key planning objectives and design principles to help shape, influence and guide future development proposals in the area. This is so they are acceptable and can deliver positive benefits and improvements to make the area even better for the local community.

While it covers a different area and different sites, it is also intended to complement other plans that are at different stages in their preparation. These have their own consultation and adoption processes.
