As part of Camden’s Climate Action Plan 2020-2025, we have committed to reducing CO2e emissions from the borough to net zero by 2030.
To achieve this, we will need to do everything we can to reduce emissions from our estate and operations.

Camden Climate Alliance
The Camden Climate Alliance (CCA) is a network made up of:
businesses
the community
schools
They work together to drive positive change and tackle the climate crisis in Camden.
The CCA is one of nine Business Engagement Partners across London to partner with the Mayor of London. They have more than 40 Camden businesses moving through the programme.
The CCA has worked with local Business Improvement Districts to recruit businesses to the programme. This includes:

Camden Climate Pledge
The Camden Climate Pledge is a framework to support businesses tackle the climate crisis. They help to prioritise areas in businesses where they can make a significant impact.
Signatories of the pledge will support the Camden Climate Action Plan. They help to join others working towards net zero carbon emissions by 2030.

Community Action Grant
Achieving a net zero carbon Camden by 2030 will require everyone living and working in Camden to play their part. We are offering a Community Climate Action Grant to help local groups contribute.

The Camden and Brent Business Climate Challenge
The Camden and Brent Business Climate Challenge is a new voluntary energy efficiency programme.
They will provide 125 SMEs with £6,000 worth of free technical support. This will help businesses:
reduce energy consumption
save money on energy bills
cut carbon emissions.
The programme builds on the successful Mayor of London's Business Climate Challenge. It will support even more businesses future-proof their organisations as prices continue to rise.
