Green Camden

 

Three quarters of people in Camden say they are concerned about climate change and nearly as many agree that the council should lead the way in tackling it.

 
 

What we are doing

Most people want us to help reduce the costs of going green and to provide advice on how to do it.

That’s why we’ve set up Small steps, to make it easy to find everything you need to go green. We also help reduce the costs of going green in a number of ways, from providing grants to insulate your home, to funding vouchers for using real nappies.

Green Action for Change is our new environmental sustainability plan (2011 – 2020), and outlines our goals to create a low carbon and low waste borough, and to increase green actions taken by residents, businesses and schools.
