Youth question time

Youth Question Time takes place in the autumn term during Local Democracy Week

The aim of Local Democracy Week is to make councils more relevant and useful to young people by encouraging them to take part. The campaign also seeks to get young people to see councils as a route to shape change in their community.

Camden’s Youth Question Time is an opportunity for young people to:

  • engage with the local councillors
  • discuss and debate topical issues with councillors
  • participate in lively debate and have their opinions heard
  • listen to viewpoints from students from other schools and youth organisations in the borough

Local Democracy Week is a focus for citizenship events run by councils across the country.
