Who are we?

The Camden Schools Library Service is a subscription service which provides support for all teaching and learning activities. We offer a service to teachers in Camden primary schools, special schools and early years centres and to head teachers and education support staff.

The multi-media material we provide is for use by children aged 3-16 years in schools to support the teaching and learning requirements of the National Curriculum, school policies and teachers’ own needs.

In addition to the main collection there is a small professional library, which has materials on school libraries, children’s libraries, children’s books, authors, illustrators and related topics and books about education and teaching.

The Schools Library Service is funded entirely by schools that subscribe to the service and is managed by the Children,Young People and Schools Library Service in the Culture and Environment Directorate
