Supporting people
The Supporting People programme provides housing-related support services to vulnerable people in Camden.
We aim to promote greater independence and improve people's quality of life, as well as preventing homelessness and unnecessary admission to hospital, residential care or prison.
People using Supporting People services include single homeless people with mental health and drug or alcohol problems. Services are delivered in a variety of settings including hostels, supported housing and sheltered housing, as well as directly to people in their own homes through floating support. The services are delivered by different organisations including housing associations, charities and the council.
