Introduction 

Our ensembles offer an opportunity for keen young musicians to make music with other pupils from across the borough, either regularly for short periods on Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons, or for longer more intensive periods during the school holidays.

Membership of some of our ensembles is by audition. Auditions are usually held during the summer term.Members of these ensembles normally 'sign up' for the year, and we do our best to ensure that all the dates of our rehearsals are available in September, so that students can plan their activities.

We expect members to attend every rehearsal unless they are ill or involved in an important family or school event.
