Camden's Unitary Development Plan (UDP)
All London boroughs have to prepare a plan which sets out its long-term strategic goals for land use, together with the planning policies and standards that will be used to make decisions on planning applications.
Our Unitary Development Plan (or UDP) is the statutory plan that covers the whole of the borough. The UDP contains policies on a wide range of matters including, housing, the environment, transport, leisure and economic and community uses:

Replacement UDP preparation and review
Between 2000 and 2006 the previous UDP (adopted 2000) went through a process of review, which resulted in its replacement by the new UDP (adopted 2006).
